Electrical Panels by Michael Jackobo
A set of electrical panels for power distribution, arranged as artwork on a wall. This arrangement of electrical equipment is located in the building of an old newspapers and magazines publishing company. That company does not exist any more and the whole building has been converted to a place for happenings, lectures and art related events.
These electrical panels were distributing the power supply to the various sectors of the company inside the edifice. Now that they are no longer serving their original purpose they have been converted into an industrial artwork at the entrance of the building.
As a former electrician I found this construction impressive and I made the shot which I present today, after some necessary adjustments in order to reduce the visual clutter around it.

Ηλεκτρικοί Πίνακες
Ένα σύνολο από ηλεκτρικούς πίνακες για διανομή ισχύος, τοποθετημένοι σαν έργο τέχνης στον τοίχο. Αυτοί οι ηλεκτρικά εξαρτήματα βρίσκονται στο κτίριο μιας παλιάς εκδοτικής εταιρίας εφημερίδων και περιοδικών. Η εταιρία δεν υπάρχει πλέον και ολόκληρο το κτίριο έχει μετατραπεί σε ένα μέρος για δρώμενα, ομιλίες και εκδηλώσεις τέχνης.
Αυτοί οι ηλεκτρικοί πίνακες μοίραζαν την ηλεκτρική παροχή στους διάφορους τομείς της εταιρίας μέσα στο κτίριο. Τώρα που δεν εξυπηρετούν τον αρχικό σκοπό τους έχουν μεταβληθεί σε ένα βιομηχανικό έργο τέχνης στην είσοδο του χώρου.
Σαν ένας πρώην ηλεκτρολόγος βρίσκω αυτή τη κατασκευή εντυπωσιακή και έτσι έκανα τη λήψη που παρουσιάζω, αφού πρώτα έκανα κάποιες παρεμβάσεις για να μειώσω την οπτική φασαρία γύρω της.
