Seascape by Michael Jackobo

An old, rusty crane stands above the sea and raises itself towards the sky. There is not much to write for this photo, so this is going to be a small article. The crane is the one visible in the photo “Shipwreck and Crane”; as it was another dominant element in the area, I had to take a photo with the crane as the subject. The mere size of it though, made it difficult to make a meaningful composition -as it made everything else around seem very small- especially when I tried to take a shot from below.
I went to a place above the crane and I found that the sea was the only thing bigger in size, so instead of trying to make a photo of the crane, I decided to make it part of the seascape.
I don’t want to go into technical details about the composition, so that is all I had to write for this photo. I feel it is so strong image that it doesn’t need many words to describe it.
