A smiling face carved on a tree. It is always amazing to find small details around, and trying to create a composition with surrounding elements to make an interesting photo. I saw this smiling face carved on the tree by chance because I was waiting for a friend to take a photo somewhere near this spot. I wouldn’t be happy in just trying to take a snap of the smiling face, so I waited for someone to pass by and fill the frame. As always in days when one shoots much, I didn’t have to wait much and the little girl with the woman in the distance make up for a great addition to the background.

Ένα χαμογελαστό πρόσωπο χαραγμένο σε ένα δέντρο. Είναι πάντα συναρπαστικό το να βρίσκεις μικρές λεπτομέρειες και να προσπαθείς να δημιουργήσεις μια σύνθεση με τα στοιχεία που υπάρχουν εκεί γύρω για να κάνεις μια ενδιαφέρουσα φωτογραφία. Είδα αυτό το χαμογελαστό πρόσωπο κατά τύχη επειδή περίμενα ένα φίλο να τραβήξει μια δική του φωτογραφία κάπου εκεί κοντά. Δε θα με ικανοποιούσε το να κάνω μια απλή λήψη του προσώπου έτσι περίμενα κάποιον να περάσει για να γεμίσω το κάδρο. Όπως πάντα στις μέρες που κάνω πολλές λήψεις, δε χρειάστηκε να περιμένω πολύ και το κοριτσάκι με τη γυναίκα από πίσω δημιουργούν ένα πολύ καλό γέμισμα στο φόντο.
