Tree Bark by Michael Jackobo.

Let’s see what will I manage to come up with in this article. There is not really a story behind this photo, so this will be a big rant to fill the necessary space. Here we go…
This photo hes a similar theme to some of my previous posts, namely the Flower and the Olive Tree. The latter because of the subject (a tree bark) and the former because of the technique (shallow depth of field). I just saw the tree from that vantage point outside the Acropolis Museum and I wanted to see how it would look like photographed with an almost wide open aperture, to keep only the closest part of the tree bark in focus. Although the light was not helping much at that hour, I believe that the image is still impressive enough to have it posted here.

Κορμός Δέντρου.

Για να δούμε τι θα καταφέρω να γράψω σε αυτό το άρθρο. Δεν υπάρχει κάποια ιστορία πίσω από αυτή τη φωτογραφία, οπότε θα αναφέρω πράγματα για να γεμίσω το χώρο που χρειάζεται! Πάμε…
Η φωτογραφία έχει παρόμοια στοιχεία με μερικές προηγούμενες δημοσιεύσεις μου, συγκεκριμένα το Λουλούδι και το Ελαιόδεντρο. Η δεύτερη λόγο του θέματος (ο κορμός ενός δέντρου) και η πρώτη λόγω της τεχνικής (μικρό βάθος πεδίου). Απλά είδα το κορμό από αυτή την οπτική γωνία έξω από το μουσείο της ακρόπολης και ήθελα να δω πως θα φαινόταν φωτογραφημένος με σχεδόν ανοιχτό διάφραγμα για να κρατήσω μόνο το πιο κοντινό μέρος του δέντρου εστιασμένο. Παρόλο που το φως δεν βοηθούσε εκείνη την ώρα, πιστεύω ότι η εικόνα παραμένει αρκετά εντυπωσιακή ώστε να τη δημοσιεύσω εδώ.
