Still Life with Cigarettes and Lens Cap by Michael Jackobo
Fooling around with the camera while being out for a coffee. When a photographer is out with friends and acquaintances that also have photography as a hobby, the talk will eventually go to the subject of cameras and techniques. I was showing to a friend some things regarding this form of art, when I took notice of the cigarettes and the lens cap that were on the table. I decided to take a snap just for the heck of it -something I would never have done on film, unless I wanted to finish the roll, and see the other shots. Although I had no expectations from this still life with cigarettes and lens cap, it turned out technically correct and since I don’t have many photos to show this period, I included it in the selection of images for publication.
