Land meets the Sea by Michael Jackobo
A landscape photograph showing the place where the land meets the sea; at the small island of Koukoumitsa, in the town of Vonitsa in western Greece. Vonitsa in near the place where I usually go in the summer and I visit it often when I find myself there. This year a friend and fellow photographer was also there, so went for a photowalk together around the town.
As we were going around the island of Koukoumitsa, right out of the town, I made this photo of the steep, rocky shores of the island, giving more emphasis in the sea and the cloudy sky. Initially I was planning to make it a Random Photo for Instagram but it grew on me and in the end I decided to present in the Photoblog under the title “Land meets the Sea”
